What to expect from our Sidcup branch

The UK’s 1st MCIAC Gold Standard Quality Motorcycle Training school.

The training site is located at The Bexley Road Safety Centre, Baugh Road, next to Foots Cray Park. London’s only purpose-built motorcycle training centre with an off-highway road network for safe learning. It’s easily accessible by both public transport and car. Parking is available on site.

Training is given on a range of new Honda bikes, for CBT and full licence categories, manual or automatic and is open 7 days a week, allowing you to train when you want to.

Short-notice Training

Should you need it, we offer short-notice Motorcycle Training.

CBT Courses

Available 7 days a week and can be completed within a day.

Full Licence Training

Our Full Licence Training available with direct and restricted access.

What is a CBT and what can I ride once I have completed it.

The courses normally start at 08:30 and the CBT consists of unlimited training until you reach a safe standard of on-road riding. and is usually completed in one day.

Do I need a Motorcycle Theory and Hazard Perception Test before my CBT Course?

No your CBT just qualifies you as a learner for a two year period and as such you do NOT need to take a theory test

Can I ride a motorcycle with clutch and gears if I took my CBT on an automatic?

First, check that your licence shows Category A provisional. If so, you can ride a 125cc machine for as long as your CBT certificate lasts.

Yes, provided you comply with the age and engine size/power restrictions mentioned above, the CBT is normally valid for either type of transmission.
